Head Back with a Head Start

Every summer, Emergency Aid of Boulder City partners with local organizations, businesses, and our community to gather donated school supplies.

Just before school starts, we distribute those supplies to Boulder City K-12 students who may otherwise be unable to afford them.

All families in need with children in Boulder City schools are welcome to join us to fill up backpacks with notebooks, binders, pens, and more.

Our goal is to equip Boulder City's students with the supplies they need to succeed.

Teachers' Lists

We do our best to get copies of teachers' supply lists ahead of time, but we encourage families to bring their own copy if available. After you check-in, one of our volunteers will walk around the item tables with you to make sure you're able to check off as many of those wishlist items as possible.

What's Available?

This program relies on donations, so not every item may be available for all students. But usually, we're able to cover all the basics: pens, pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks, binders, scissors, glue sticks, backpacks, and more.

Eligibility

Students attending K-12 schools in Boulder City are eligible for free supplies. No pre-registration is necessary, but families with any questions before the distribution can call us at 702-293-0332.

Distribution Event

After collecting donated items and purchasing supplies with donated funds, EABC hosts a distribution event to get the supplies to the kids. This event is held over several days at the Multi-Use Building at 1204 Sixth Street.

Our next distribution event: August 3-6, 2026, 9am to 1pm

This program is possible thanks to generous donations from our community. Every child deserves to walk into their classroom confident and prepared, and with your support, we can make that happen for all of Boulder City's kids.

Items can be dropped off at our offices during operating hours.
